Changing Places Lead Agency: The Seachange Trust Partners: Norfolk Youth Service, Connexions, Norfolk Museums Service, Norfolk Record Office, Tower Curing Works Museum.
PROJECT
Young people will research and celebrate the development of the Scottish Fisherpeople and Greek Cypriot communities of Great Yarmouth, by carrying out oral history recordings and paper-based research at Norfolk Record Office. Young people will also visit and research historically interesting heritage sites around the town, such as its medieval town walls, the beautiful purpose-built circus (one of only 3 of its kind in the country) and the Tower Curing Works.
