The weekend will be organised around a series of one-hour workshops.
Organisers hope many participants will come prepared to lead these and are asking for advance notice of these to help them finalise the conference programme in good time.
In addition to workshops, there will be two sessions led by invited speakers and a showing of the film Lambeth Boys.
Delegates will also receive a complimentary copy of the third volume of Essays on the History of Youth and Community Work, to be published by Youth and Policy and The National Youth Agency.
Residential places at the event, to be held at Ushaw College, Durham, cost 125 per person. Non-residential places are 80. For more information or to reserve a place, contact Tony Jeffs, Community and Youth Work Studies Unit, University of Durham, Elvet Riverside II, New Elvet, Durham DH1 3JT.
