THE NATIONAL YOUTH AGENCY: New research award for YALP

1 min read

YALP, a joint initiative between The National Institute of Adult Continuing Education (NIACE) and The NYA, researches and develops approaches to young adults' learning and development.

This funding enables YALP to focus on informal education and the development of young adults' literacy and numeracy skills.

The project will incorporate a literature review, a mapping exercise and case studies of current provision. The intention is also to review existing teaching and learning materials and, where appropriate, design and pilot additional materials.

If your work currently involves working with young adults aged 16 to 25 to develop their literacy, language and numeracy skills and you are interested in finding out more about the project or being involved, please send your contact details and a brief outline of your work to Helen Cutting, YALP administrator, at helenc@nya.org.uk.
