The National Youth Agency: New edition of Youth Policy Update tocontain briefing on budget measures

The April issue of Youth Policy Update, The National Youth Agency's regular journal of briefings and commentaries on youth policy, contains a briefing on measures within the 2004 budget which support children and young people. These include the review of financial support for 16- to 19-year-olds, the national minimum wage for 16- to 17-year-olds, new support for childcare, the growth in education spending and the National Youth Volunteering Strategy. Alongside regular sections on Youth and Social Policy, Connexions, Funding, Ofsted and The NYA, another briefing looks at the children bill.
