Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council's executive director of children's services Damian Allen met some of the young people involved. He said: "In Knowsley, children and young people are at the heart of everything we do. Youth work is an essential element of this and we work all year round to provide the best possible services for all our young citizens."
Images from the project are being displayed on three billboards throughout Knowsley until the week of 4 January 2007. A booklet featuring selected images has been produced and a celebration evening was held at Kirkby Civic Suite.
This was one of hundreds of events from around the country demonstrating the role youth work can play in promoting young people's mental health.
