The National Youth Agency: Best rural-based practice sought infollow-up to green paper guidelines

1 min read

Rural Youth Network's chief executive officer Angela Harrison said: "We know there is much good practice out there in rural areas and the time has come to shout about it. We would like to work with you to continue to influence the policy agenda and to maintain the profile of good rural youth work. We intend to disseminate this good practice, and to look at how it can be replicated in other rural areas."

The project is particularly keen to hear from examples of rural-based work involving a lead professional (or trusted adult), multi-agency or multidisciplinary working, a single point of referral or holistic services to young people. They also welcome contact from any projects who believe their work has relevance to other aspects of the green paper, and those utilising a card system similar in concept to the opportunity card.
