1 min read
The Draft Apprenticeship Bill outlines plans to create more placements and improve standards and accreditation.

GCSEs and A-levels, diplomas, apprenticeships - it's all happening in education, isn't it? Sometimes it can feel like too much is happening: extended services; changes to the curriculum; proposals to place the duty to co-operate on schools and FE colleges; an Education and Skills Bill that raises the age of participation in education or training to 18; and a transformation of the vocational route of study through the new diplomas as well as an expanded programme of apprenticeships.
