Top civil servants have revealed that the consultation is now onminister's desks and will be published before Parliament breaks up forthe summer on 27 July. One proposal is to pilot x-raying young people'swrists, collar bone and teeth, which can reveal a person's age.
Lisa Nandy, policy adviser at The Children's Society, said: "We'reopposed to medical interventions for non-medical reasons. It will have areal impact on children who've been through some brutal processes."
