Sexual Exploitation: Barnardo's child intervention works

A study of children who are used for sex in the UK shows the right intervention can reduce the risk of ongoing exploitation.

The two-year evaluation of Barnardo's sexual exploitation services showsthat young people faced less risk after contact with the service.Positive outcomes included going missing less often, improvedrelationships with parents and carers, and an improved ability torecognise exploitative relationships.
