Five-month-old Cadey-Lee Deacon died after being mauled by two Rottweiler dogs. They had been kept as guard dogs for a pub in Leicester. Discuss young people's reaction. Was the death just a tragic mistake, or should it have been foreseen?

Earlier this year, the Metropolitan Police discussed whether some young men were keeping aggressive dogs to instil fear and intimidation in their neighbours. Do young people think that this really happens? Discuss other reasons for keeping potentially dangerous dogs.

Some people have called for a registration system, with licences issued to responsible owners of dangerous dogs, in a similar system to gun licences.
