Resources: Just out ... A round-up of new resources for youthworkers

The UK's children are apparently the unhappiest and most deprived in the developed world. The Children's Society has created a micro site at www.childrenssociety.org.uk to give under-18s the chance to report on their lives as evidence for its Good Childhood Inquiry. The inquiry panel is looking at a range of themes about what makes for a good childhood.

THE IMPACT OF THE NEW

This report and DVD looks at the achievements of the Partners in Innovation programme, a six-year project that funded and studied innovative approaches to youth work. Case studies and interviews with young people, youth workers and advisers from a number of projects, such as Youthworcs in Worcestershire, highlight the importance of innovation and how young people have benefited.
