A decade ago, North Manchester Jewish Project surveyed the needs of Jewish young people in the city. It has repeated the exercise and found young people enjoying school less, experiencing more pressure and finding religion to be less important. However, the number experiencing anti-Semitism was up from a third to a half. The report calls on Jewish communities to invest in qualified youth workers.
