In the last 30 years some 2,000 deaths, mainly of young people, have been caused by solvent abuse. This video and education pack from the charity Re-Solv is designed to inform young people and those who work with them of the dangers of volatile substances. The 12-minute video looks at personal stories of parents of young people who died through butane inhalation and a guide booklet includes lesson plans for a Personal Social and Health Education programme with young people aged 11 to 16.

It includes case studies, "can you cope?" quizzes and planning checklists.
