Talking about Domestic Abuse

This activity book is for children, aged from around nine toadolescence, whose families have experienced domestic abuse. It isdesigned to encourage them to open up to their mothers about theirdistressing experiences and help them recover and move on. Theactivities are accompanied by photographs prompting discussion about theissues raised in the book.

The book also caters for families of young people who have lived throughdomestic abuse and professionals who work with them.

From helping weanbabies onto solids through to ideas for a nutritious breakfast thatappeals to children, the focus is on child-friendly advice rather thanrecipes.
