Resources: Funding Focus - Commonwealth Youth Exchange Council

1 min read

Who can apply? Grants are for projects involving young people aged 16 to 25. Priority is given to those projects involving young people who would not normally have such opportunities and that can show evidence of real youth ownership and participation in planning. Exchange groups will normally number between five and 15 members including leaders, and exchange programmes should last three weeks.

How much is available? Grants for outward visits will be between 25 and 40 per cent of travel costs. There may also be funding available to help with travel costs of incoming partners.

Application process: A guidelines leaflet can be requested on the web site www.cyec.org.uk, and a registration pack, including grant application forms, can be obtained by sending an A4 self-addressed envelope with 54p stamps to CYEC, 7 Lion Yard, Tremadoc Road, London SW4 7NQ.
