Is there much new here then? Not as such. It's an update of The Electoral Commission's 2002 report Voter engagement and young people and looks at what other surveys and analyses have turned up since then.
Is it more stuff telling us how young people don't care? Not at all.
If there is a villain in all this, it is political culture and its failure to make itself relevant. The message - one we've heard before and will know from our work - is that it is not that young people don't care, but they don't see politics as the means for sorting things out.
