Opinion: If I were in charge of ... Art School, Tennessee Williams, 10, southeast London

1 min read
I really like art. I'd have special activities for children and adults to do and get some famous artists in to do them. Most of the people I'd like are dead but I could get some people in who specialise in their work like Rolf Harris.

There'd be things like different types of activities, like sculpting and working with different media.

All children could go and you could go instead of school. It would be open every day. Doing art every day is good because you might want to take it up as a job and it might help you get into it or to get a qualification.

My art school would be a big building, all glass, with different colours.

There would be different rooms, so if you were doing still life there would be a whole room with figures and things to draw. There'd be different painting rooms so if you wanted to paint flowers, you would have a room like a garden.
