On the Ground: Down at my club - The Xchange, Ealing

We do a lot of things at my club. We have table tennis and also do bigger group activities. Mainly we have talks. One time we were discussing homelessness and we decided to sit outside for a while with just a few blankets to try to see what it is like. That was quite interesting.

I meet my friends at the club. It's useful because most of them don't go to my school. Some of them went to my old school, so it's nice to see them and catch up with what's going on.

Some of the sessions the club runs, like the homelessness one, really make you think. I would tell someone who doesn't go to a youth club that it's good fun and it's a good opportunity to try new things and learn new stuff. The only thing I would really change is how often we meet. At the moment it's every fortnight but it would be better if it were once a week, although I know that's not really possible.
