On the ball in Birmingham: First Personal Best Challenge Park opens

Pupils at Golden Hillock School and Sports College in Birmingham are pictured with Olympic canoeist Helen Reeves at the launch of the school's Personal Best Challenge Park, one of the first of its kind in the UK.

The programme has been developed by the Youth Sport Trust in partnership with Coca-Cola Great Britain and the British Olympic Foundation following research by the Institute of Youth Sport that showed students are active for only a tenth of their lunch hours. The school's playground space has been remodelled to encourage more physical activity by young people during break and lunch times.
