NYA Update: NYA announces LGA conference dates

This year, the NYA, as part of its Routes to Success programme with the Local Government Association, will be holding two free conferences to support local authorities in developing their young people’s services.

The first will be on 12 September 2012 in Birmingham and will provide senior managers responsible for managing youth with a chance to explore the Troubled Families Agenda with other local authorities.

The second will be at Local Government House in London on Wednesday 16 January 2013. The annual conference is directed at elected members, directors of children’s services and other senior managers responsible for young people’s services. It will showcase new and innovative approaches to young people’s services and explore the emerging issues facing the sector.

Further conference information will be announced shortly. To register your interest in either event, email debbiesi@nya.org.uk.
