Assembly members (MLPs) and Westminster MPs hope the All-Party Working Group on Children will help highlight young people's issues during the general election. The group will start meeting regularly from this week.
The resurrection of the working group comes ahead of the launch of Room For Improvement, a manifesto for young people in Northern Ireland put together by children's charities including Barnardo's and Save the Children.
The manifesto will be unveiled on 7 April.
