Youth Work - A Model for Effective Practice (Updated 2003) was launched on 15 January as a practical tool for youth workers. The document builds on the council's 1997 document, and has been altered to take account of political and social change.
Gerry McGinn, permanent secretary for education in Northern Ireland, said the relaunch would help to "ensure opportunities for young people".
