One in three young people wanting to go to university say they can't afford to, according to figures from the UK Youth Parliament (UKYP). The figures are part of a UKYP report calling for the abolition of tuition fees. The survey of 6,000 young people aged 15 to 18 in England also found more than 60 per cent of those quizzed had aspirations to go to university. www.ukyp.org.uk.
