The task of restoring the reputation of the child and family court advisory service Cafcass has begun with a review of its performance, budgetary position and outstanding complaints by a new interim board appointed late last year. Board member Judy Weleminsky, who refused to comply with the Lord Chancellor's request for her to resign, was not present because she is suspended from the job while her position is considered.
