Children with Type 1 diabetes in Scotland could benefit from improved services following a review of the Scottish Diabetes Framework. Recommendations put out to consultation include greater integration between children's and adult services to improve the transition from paediatric to adult care. A document updating the framework should be published in the first half of 2005.
