Plant Hill Arts College in Higher Blackley, Manchester, has reported an 18 per cent increase in pupils with 100 per cent attendance as a result of a scheme using music to motivate pupils. The initiative, called Motiv, offers pupils prizes - such as trips to radio studios - for good attendance.
