No action will be taken against the Lord Chancellor, Lord Falconer, for his treatment of Judy Weleminsky, the Cafcass board member who gave evidence to the Commons Select Committee on Constitutional Affairs (News, 21 January). But the Commons Standards and Privileges Committee said that, in a letter, Lord Falconer had given the impression that he planned to penalise Weleminsky for giving evidence and that this "constituted a contempt".
