The National Association of Head Teachers has warned that parents may face childcare problems if proposals to end primary school lessons at lunchtime go ahead. "If school were to start earlier, it wouldn't be reasonable to expect them to finish at the same time as now,"said a spokesman, Head teachers in Newham, east London, suggested the idea.
