Glasgow City Council is to build nine primary schools with facilities for the under-fives as part of a £50m investment. Two of the new campuses will also accommodate special needs schools. The council will amalgamate and close 22 primary schools that have insufficient numbers or are in poor condition. It will also amalgamate, close or relocate 10 pre-five establishments.
