NEWS IN BRIEF: General Medical Council suspends doctor

The General Medical Council has suspended a doctor convicted of child pornography offences from the medical register for 12 months. Adrian Catterall was dismissed from his post at Lister Hospital in Stevenage after pleading guilty last March to 16 counts of making an indecent photograph of a child.
