Thousands of children are not receiving the support "they need and should have" because of the continued failure of the Child Support Agency to collect payments from absent parents. The Labour MP for Caerphilly, Wayne David, who met work and pensions minister Chris Pond last week to highlight the issue, said: "Concerns about the Child Support Agency now represent the single biggest issue raised by my constituents."
