The Children's Play Council has sent a Manifesto for Play to all the main political parties in the run-up to the party conference season. It calls for full implementation of the recommendations made in Frank Dobson's play review on the allocation of 200m of lottery funding, and for a pilot programme of supervised settings in the 100 most deprived areas that would offer children places to meet.
