News in Brief: Children travel without car seats

More than half of parents allow their children to travel in other people's cars without a car seat, according to a survey of more than 2,000 parents in Mother & Baby magazine. Car seats were not fitted properly by 80 per cent of parents and a third took their children out of the seat while travelling.
