For some families (nationally estimated at 30% of the population) difficulties arise which, if nipped in the bud early enough, we can stop them escalating to specialist services. If early help is not offered this can, in the worst cases, result in children’s social and emotional development being irreparably impaired and family breakdown.
Worcestershire County Council wishes to commission a lead organisation to deliver early help services to families with children aged 0 to 19 across the district of Bromsgrove. These services must be clearly focused on identified needs in the area.
We are looking for providers who can offer innovative solutions to meeting local needs and demonstrate significant and sustained improvements to outcomes for children and young people.
The Bromsgrove contract will start in August 2014 for the duration of three years with the option to extend for a further two year period.
Tenders will be evaluated against the Tender Evaluation Criteria to identify the best quality offer (ie. The ability to achieve the outcomes expected) to meet the Council’s requirements.
The deadline for the return of tenders is 4pm on 2nd January 2014.
