NCB Now: YNCB get their say in Loudspeaker

1 min read
The latest issue of Loudspeaker, the free termly magazine produced for Young NCB members, is due out this month.

The magazine, which is written by young people, features an award-winning article on politics by Liz Williams, which won this year's National Political Journalism Competition.

An article by Young NCB member, Ayoush Lazikani, looks at why people dislike poetry, while Emily Asamaoh, 15, who did two weeks' work experience at NCB in October, talks about what she learned during her time there.

"I would recommend doing your work experience at NCB because it's really cool. You get to meet lots of new people and learn about new things," she said. "With NCB you can express your views and actually get things done about it."

Young NCB is a free membership network for all children and young people under 18.

"We are keen to hear from young people interested in having their say and sharing ideas with their peers," said Lucy Read, participation development officer, NCB, who edited this issue of Loudspeaker.
