Consultation on fuel poverty
With 200,000 children and young people living in low-income households and fuel poverty on the increase, Children in Wales has received funding from Consumer Focus Wales to consult with children and young people on their experiences and understanding of the problem.
The Participation Workers' Network for Wales and Kath O'Kane Consultancy has started a series of workshops with children across Wales. These will identify issues and potential solutions to fuel poverty from the perspective of young people.
A Top Tips tool, DVD and report will be released following the work and will be used to influence local and national policy.
