In response to a recent Children's Workforce Development Council, Voice and National Childminding Association (NCMA) report into the capacity, needs and aspirations of the nanny workforce in England, NCMA has launched a new membership offer for nannies. Members are entitled to factsheets, literature on sector developments and an information line into customer services and legal support.
Nannies require different forms and methods of communication in order to effectively deliver services that provide quality of care and target the needs of children and young people. In order to target these varied needs, NCMA will provide information via the new nanny area on the website and include a dedicated page for nannies in Who Minds?, a bi-monthly members' magazine that provides news and information on home-based childcare, views and opinions, and creative ideas for child learning and development.
