NCB Now: How to get involved in Playday

1 min read
It's not too late. There's still time to get involved and make time for play on Wednesday 5 August.

Hundreds of events have already been registered on the Playday website, with organisations and individuals from Shetland to Cornwall getting involved and making time for play. Organisers have come up with some fantastic ways of highlighting this year's theme, such as burying time capsules, making pledges to play and encouraging everyone to take time out to play for the day. There's some really great play planned, with people celebrating on beaches and in forests and taking over city centres for the day in the name of play.

Organising a Playday event isn't the only way to celebrate. If you're not organising your own event, why not check out what's happening in your local area and join in the fun, or perhaps offer your time and skills on the day?
