Families With Children in Britain: Findings from the 2006 Families and Children Study

Eighth in a series of annual surveys investigating the circumstances of British families with dependent children, covering family characteristics, health, education, children's activities, work and income, childcare, benefits and tax credits.

- Parental Involvement in Children's Education 2007

This survey investigated parent's involvement in their children's schooling, based on interviews with parents of children aged five to 16 in England. Half of parents feel very involved in their child's education. Informal discussions with school staff are identified as the most useful way of finding out about children's progress.
