Regrettably, however, there are a huge number of people who do not enjoythis break because they have nothing to do. This is a big problem, whichis not easy to solve.
Why is it so difficult? It's because every young person is different, and every young person wants and needs something different in theircommunity to help them enjoy their spare time. Youth centres are not foreveryone.
In fact, only a small percentage of young people say that they wouldlike to use one.
So what should the Government do? Firstly they need to look carefully atthe needs of the area, find out what type of service would be the mostbeneficial to the people living there, then work out what is the bestthing to spend their budget on, because let's face it, there is no pointin spending a lot of money on youth centres that no-one will everuse.
