Throughout this time we have continued to argue that children and youngpeople should have the right to be prepared for growing up and makingchoices about sex and relationships. They should not be expected tonavigate blindly, hoping for the best.
This is especially true now that we live in a society that has becomemuch more liberal about sex. It is vital that we - both as professionalsand parents - move with the times by adapting the way we provideeducation and support on sex and relationships. A quick talk about the"birds and the bees" is not enough.
