Just before this, I'd started going to a support group for young people in care called the Rights Thing Group. It's part of RAPP, a project in Hull. There, I could talk to other kids who had experienced similar things to me.
After college, I did a course in business administration. I got a placement, but it didn't go too well so I left. I asked RAPP if I could finish my placement there and they agreed. I've been at RAPP for the last seven months.
I've gained a lot of experience and more qualifications, and I've done a range of things, such as giving training, taking in a young people's panel to help with RAPP's casework and interviewing people. I designed a calendar and design newsletters for the project, and I've just completed a short film on my life for the BBC.
