Last Word: Hit or diss?

Parents being banned from play areas? This is a definite DISS.

Parents should be able to play with their children in local play areas - it's an important part of bringing up their children. Although child protection is important, this is a step too far.

Sunbeds? DISS. There should be tighter regulations on sunbeds, especially for young people, to ensure they don't get badly burned. We also need to hold the media to account for portraying tanned skin as desirable - if they didn't young people wouldn't feel under pressure to use a sunbed.

Postal strikes? Although I sympathise with Royal Mail staff, this is a DISS. The strikes have gone too far, and are disrupting everyone's lives too much and causing problems for many businesses. The workers' union, the Royal Mail and the government need to work harder at achieving a consensus.
