David Whewell, head of the Wiltshire Youth Development Service, has been appointed chair of the Association of Principal Youth and Community Officers for the next two years. Sue Payne, children, youth and play manager for Milton Keynes Council, was elected as chair designate and will work alongside Whewell for next two years before taking up the role in November 2009.
