Despite fevered and ubiquitous coverage of Kate and William's recent nuptials, some children are still rather befuddled about the royal family.
Ten per cent believe the Queen is married to Prince Charles, revealed the Daily Star, reporting on a survey of six-to 12-year-olds. Meanwhile, a few believe Lady Gaga is a member of the royal family, although we dread to think what she would have worn to the ceremony in Westminster Abbey.
The "study", by hotel chain Premier Inn, also quizzed children on their knowledge of geography. "The research shows how pupils struggle with geography and basic general knowledge, with one in 10 unable to point out the UK on a map," reported the paper.
