Project The Butterfly Project and The Phoenix Project

Purpose To prevent self-harm among young people

Funding NHS North Lancashire gives £30,000 a year to the Butterfly project. In October 2011 the Health and Social Care Volunteering Fund from the Department of Health awarded the scheme £50,000 for three years. Funding for The Phoenix Project includes £40,000 from the Tudor Trust

The project started in 2005 with funding from Comic Relief and NHS North Lancashire. Three years later, The Phoenix Project to support young men began.
