"I love coming here because we get to eat really nice food," she says. "We've made spaghetti bolognaise, chicken burgers and orange muffins recently."
When fast-food outlets offer two burgers for 99p, it's asking a lot for cash-strapped young people to buy salad instead. Food isn't always the highest priority for the disadvantaged and disengaged young people targeted by Cwmbran's 4 Seasons Kitchen.
Sharran Lloyd, the project's healthy living co-ordinator, says: "I'm trying to get them to change their diet and eat healthily. Poor diet is a big issue. A lot of the groups I work with don't eat well - some have just come out of care and have problems with money management, so eating is the first thing to go."
