Ana Paula Nacif finds out how a nurse and a youth worker are encouraging young people with health problems in Peterborough to become more active.

And, with support and advice, they can be as active as they like.

Outdoor climbing, ice-skating, windsurfing and horse riding are just a few of the activities that a group of young people in Peterborough has being enjoying. The No Stopping Us club, a name they gave themselves, was set up to help young people with asthma, diabetes and obesity to get out and about. According to Asthma UK, one in eight children in the UK is receiving treatment for asthma, and a child is admitted to hospital every 16 minutes in England, Scotland or Wales because of the disorder. And according to Diabetes UK, there are about 20,000 people under the age of 20 with diabetes in the UK.
