Get with it: Marina Diamandis, Kidrobot, School of Comedy

1 min read Youth Work
The talented Welsh singer Marina Diamandis and her fans who she calls "the Diamonds" make up the much-loved Marina & the Diamonds.

This year has provided a massive boost to Marina's career, after she was awarded second place on the BBC Sound of 2010 poll, after Ellie Goulding, and released her debut album The Family Jewels. Her fifth single Shampain is due out this month. Marina has been categorised by critics as a "new-wave" pop artist, but her teenage "diamonds" are captivated by her quirky music style and unique dress sense.

Kidrobot produces designer toys which resemble cartoon animals and are based on urban graffiti and stencil art. The toys are seen as collectors' items and are available in selected outlets and on the Kidrobot website. The brand also produces clothing featuring the Kidrobot characters and runs a blog online to keep fans up-to-date with contests, style, culture and events.
