Funding briefs: Centre to promote story-telling opens in Edinburgh

A 3.5m centre to promote story-telling opened in Edinburgh last week. The Scottish Storytelling Centre will develop a network of storytellers and will involve all age groups. The money for the centre, run jointly by the Scottish Storytelling Forum and the Church of Scotland, came from the Scottish Arts Council, Scottish Enterprise and Edinburgh City Council, in addition to charitable donations.
